The German-Italian conductor Luciano Di Martino drew stunning sound and passion from the Orchestra during the grand opening movement and managed to even enhance this during the great finale. The sound of the Orchestra during the middle movements was accompanied by lyrical tenderness and an enlivened growth of awareness. The audience celebrated the musicians with enthusiastic applause.
